Richard Gibbons set-up the Natural Health Clinic in 1998 after training as an acupuncturist &ndash. A therapy he practices there for three days a week. In GP surgeries in Bristol for the other two.
Before working as an acupuncturist, he trained as a counsellor and did voluntary work in that field for a Bristol charity called Off The Record.
Enthusiastic and passionate about his work, Richard says: “I feel immensely fortunate and privileged to do the work I do and never tire of seeing patients, new or old.”
Gradually, the clinic grew and now offers a myriad of alternative therapies, including aromatherapy. Chinese herbal medicine, massage and acupressure. Counseling and psychotherapy. Emotional freedom techniques. Health kinesiology. Homeopathy. Hypnotherapy. Iridology. Kinesiology. Personal training. Reflexology. Reiki. Shiatsu. Sports massage. Time line therapy and allergy testing.
If you’re unsure about which kind of therapy to choose, Richard offers free 15-minute consultations after which he'll point you in the right direction.
And, if you’re stuck for Christmas present ideas, you’re just in time to purchase gift vouchers in time for the big day.
The clinic is at 407 Gloucester Road, Horfield, Bristol, BS7 8TS. For more information, call 0117 944 4448. Visit the website at www.bristol-natural- health-service.co.uk.Tags: herbal medicine, alternative therapies, chinese herbal, natural health
